Traci Brimhall is the author of Our Lady of the Ruins (W.W. Norton, 2012), selected by Carolyn Forché for the 2011 Barnard Women Poets Prize, and Rookery (Southern Illinois University Press, 2010), winner of the 2009 Crab Orchard Series in Poetry First Book Award and finalist for the ForeWord Book of the Year Award. She is an Assistant Professor of Creative Writing at Kansas State University.
John Gallaher is the author of The Little Book of Guesses (2007, Four Way Books), winner of the Levis Poetry Prize; Map of the Folded World (2009, University of Akron Press); and co-author, with G.C. Waldrep, of Your Father on the Train of Ghosts (2011, BOA Editions). His poetry appears widely in such places as The Boston Review, The Kenyon Review, Ploughshares, and The Best American Poetry. Gallaher is currently an associate professor of English at Northwest Missouri State University, and co-editor of The Laurel Review.
Timothy Volpert is a poet, musician, and budding socialist agitator from Topeka, KS, where he drives a bookmobile for the public library. His poems have turned up in Electric Cereal, Mobius: The Journal of Social Change, and Kansas City Voices among others. He loves you, and wants the best for you.
