Jennifer L. Knox, Crystal Boson, and Pete Fey

Jennifer is the author of four books of poems and is currently working on a culinary memoir. Her work has appeared times in The Best American Poetry series, The New York Times, The New Yorker, and American Poetry Review. The Los Angeles Book Review said of her most recent book, Days of Shame & Failure, "This panopoly of twenty-first century American human experience leaves the reader a different person." She is the curator of the Iowa Bird of Mouth project and teaches at Iowa State University.

Crystal Boson makes poems that look like her body: made of dark matter. They are short, dense and vicious. She is a Southern, specifically Texan writer, that can sometimes handle living in the Midwest. She is a Cave Canem fellow, former academic and perpetual reader. She has published poems in Callaloo, Pank, The Black Bottom, Beechers, The Watershed Review, and Parcel and has two chapbooks: the queer texas prayerbook and the icarus series with Seven Kitchens Press. In 2014, she was awarded the Langston Hughes Creative Writing Award and her poem, Kansas up south, was nominated for a Pushcart Prize in 2015. Pete is a poet from Omaha, Nebraska who now lives in Lawrence, Kansas. He is a big college football fan and during the years 2000 to 2003 self-published the college football annual Pete's Point.
